Forming part of our high performance frameless Select XLS range, which incorporates our integrated SMART-R receiver, the Herschel Select XLS Mirror heater provides the very latest in smart heating. Herschel Select XLS Mirror Infrared Heating Panel
Infrared is a great alternative to traditional convection heating. The panels emit (safe) radiation that hits solid objects such as walls, furniture (and you!) and warms them directly. This means you are not paying to heat air which then escapes through the thermal envelope. As a result, infrared heating panels are efficient and cheaper to run than central heating systems.
Get great control over your heating, with these efficient, stylish panels. They take up very little space as they lie almost flat on the wall.
Herschel’s Select XLS mirrored infrared heating panel is suitable for any room in your home, office, salon or yoga studio. It is especially suited to bathrooms because it doesn’t steam up like a regular mirror. It keeps you warm and penetrates into the wall to dry out condensation and mould.
Made with mirrored safety glass and manufactured from the highest quality materials under strict quality control; as such, they are guaranteed for 5 years. Unlike radiators, they require no maintenance.

  T-BT should be placed where it can sense and manage the temperature in the room without influence from drafts or other hot or cold objects. As it is battery operated it operates stand-alone and can be placed (for example) on a desk or coffee table or set of shelves.
  The T-BT thermostat will operate your Herschel XLS heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The T-BT is easy to operate, featuring a large digital display and keypad and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology and an adaptive start function ensuring your room is always at the right temperature with the least energy use.
  The T-BT has a keypad locking feature to prevent unauthorised tampering making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student accommodation and let properties. T-BT can control one or more Herschel Select XLS heater panels.
  Note: The T-BT will only work with Herschel XLS heaters. It is not possible to operate the T-BT with any other brand of infrared heater.
  Features include:
  7 x 1 day programmable, 4 periods per day;
  Manual override and Holiday modes;
  Window Open Function (shutting off the heating if a rapid drop in temperature is detected until you override this or wait 1 hour);

  T-MT is wired directly to the mains via a recessed back box or can be powered by a micro USB cable (supplied) and operate stand alone (e.g. can be placed on a desk or set of shelves). T-MT should be placed where it can sense and manage the temperature in the room without influence from drafts or other hot or cold objects.
  The T-MT thermostat will operate your Herschel XLS heater(s) by turning them on if the room temperature is lower than the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The T-MT is easy to operate, featuring a large digital display and keypad and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology and an adaptive start function ensuring your room is always at the right temperature with the least energy use. The unit also includes an energy monitoring feature to enable you to work out the approximate energy consumption of the heaters being controlled by the unit.

  I already had the infrapanel bought somewhere else 3 years ago and unfortunately kept tripping the RCD. However the manufacturer in question only offered 12months warranty so nothing I could do. Having spoken to Mike at ecostore who was really helpful and assured me the quality of Herschel vs other brands i was put at ease and bought 2. 4 months and no issues yet. I have the 5 year manufacturers warranty for added assurance.
